Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Services, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to the Camera. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
The Flimmer app contains user login and collects an email address and the name of the parent owning the account. Parents will register a name and age of the profiles they create for their kids. We collect this information too.
The Flimmer app collects images from the user's phone, but only the images that users choose to upload to Flimmer. The app registers and stores user activity and preferences to provide a better experience.
The app uses third-party services to collect and store information. Below is a list of third-party service providers and what data they collect:
Convex:
- Accounts (parents): Email, first & last names of account holder (parents)
- Users (kids): Username, Age, Watch history (15 latest entries max)
- User uploaded files stored in S3 bucket (Amazon S3)
- Video likes
PostHog:
- Accounts (parents): Email, first & last names of account holder (parents)
- Users (kids): Username, Age
- Search queries (only in closed beta via TestFlight)
- Videos watched (all entries)
- Avatar items bought
- Device information (Model, brand, GEO location)
Security
We value your trust in providing us with your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure or reliable. Therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
We ensure only to collect relevant personal data from children that will make the app experience better and required for it to work properly.
Deletion of Data
You can contact us regarding the deletion of your account at admin@flimmerapp.com. Should you request deletion, we will delete all data associated with your account.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
